Here we are, over a year since staging a successful and memorable festival for both artists and listeners. This event made a great contribution to our community & I think we can all be justifiably proud of our achievement. However, although we’ve had plans, and for totally understandable reasons, we’ve not been able to bring new events to fruition in 2023.
Our financial situation remains solid & our current members have many skills and lots of experience to bring to the table. Live at The Village remains a unique and capable organisation.
As a professional musician, I have recently observed something of a resurgence in activity throughout the music scene. There are a plethora of exceptional younger artists who are very pro-active in performing and curating music. There is no shortage of wonderful music to present. Of course, as always, opportunities to make and present music abound.
